Born in Tianjin in 1967, graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1990. From 1992 to 1996, he taught in the Oil Painting Department of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. In 2001, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts with a master’s degree.
